**  Aggression issues will be evaluated on an individual basis and clients will only be accepted when they make a commitment to the process by purchasing a package of lessons and agreeing to deal responsibly with these issues.

AREAS OF TRAINING SPECIALIZATION

Breed Education/Selection:

Choosing the right breed of dog for your family and lifestyle is critical to everyone's satisfaction.  We will meet with you for about 90 minutes, review your desires, counsel you on specific breed characteristics, make suggestions and accompany you to make your puppy purchase or dog adoption.  (One visit to view a potential choice in Broward County is included with this consultation.)

New Puppy Consultation:

We will help you set up for your new puppy, begin a proper housebreaking regimen, set appropriate boundaries and show you how to avoid common mistakes that new owners make which often lead to bad habits and costly damage.

Rehoming:

Adopted dogs and their families face special challenges.  We'll assist you in making as smooth a transition as possible.  Our goal is to see a dog placed in a loving home environment where all can adapt quickly and he can remain their for life.

Expectant Mothers:

If the dog has been your "only child" up to now, it is a good idea to prepare your dog for the new arrival in advance.  We will meet with you for about 90 minutes

to evaluate your dog and make suggestions on how to prepare for baby's arrival.  Many dogs react negatively to the birth of a baby and this can often be avoided.  This session is recommended 8 weeks prior to your due date but can be done later.

Pet Therapy Training:

Would you and your pet like to visit sick children or lonely adults?  We can train you two to work as a team so that you can provide hours of smiles to less fortunate individuals in our community.  This training includes all the basic commands included in the BASIC OBEDIENCE PACKAGE plus preparation exercises

to help you pass the pet therapy evaluation and on-site trips as needed.
